The scientists at OMRF have played a significant role in uncovering clues to the origins of human disease. Their discoveries are helping lead the way in the fight against cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, stroke, lupus and other diseases that plague humankind. Your gifts to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation have made these advancements and discoveries possible. All gifts to OMRF are tax-deductible and go 100 percent to support research. Under Oklahoma law, anyone who makes a tax-deductible donation to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation may claim a tax credit equal to half the amount of their donation (up to a maximum tax credit of $1,000 for each individual taxpayer or a credit of $2,000 for taxpayers filing a joint return) on their Oklahoma state income tax return. This tax credit is known technically as the “Biomedical Research Tax Credit.” For more information, click here.
